Summer is coming
No, not that heartless witch.
Summer 2015! More specifically, blockbuster releases and the sweet relief of air conditioning.
Well, to kick things off, I want to feature my friend Amon‘s “Summer Blockbuster AMONtage“.
His blog AMONymous (which is coming back from hiatus) is one of my favorites and, as you will attest from the following video, the boy’s got mad editing skills.
I still hate him a bit for this, though:
Anyhoo, sit back and feast your eyes on this montage featuring clips from Avengers: Age of Ultron, Mad Max: Fury Road, Pitch Perfect 2, Hitman: Agent 47, Inside Out, Minions, Jurassic World, Terminator: Genisys, Magic Mike XXL, Furious 7, Fantastic Four, San Andreas, Ant-Man, Tomorrowland, Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation and The Man From U.N.C.L.E., set to Fall Out Boy’s “The Phoenix”.
You can check out Amon’s original post here, and follow him here, here and here.
Those are some amazing editing skills.

This could be a long list, but off the top of my head: Chris Pratt, Mark Ruffalo, Daniel Craig, Michael Fassbender, young Harrison Ford, David Boreanaz, young Paul Newman, young Marlon Brando.
hehe

May have to stretch them over a few posts, but I’d be happy to do that for you Fernando. I must sign off now, talk to you soon Fernando.

Haha, that’s fine. Maybe one in each post so everyone can have their own picks! Don’t wanna saturate everybody with mine.
Bye, man! Have a great one 🙂

Great video! I notice there are an awful lot of sequels, prequels and franchises, although I guess that’s par for the course for the summer blockbuster season. I hope there’ll be plenty of original ideas on show too! You’re right though, Summer is a heartless witch, haha!

Yep, we can only hope the original projects shine through and that all the sequels and franchises at least try to show some originality!

Bring on Summer!! Jurassic World screening has been scheduled in early June, I was like, wow that was fast! I’ve been enjoying a bunch of indies now though, but man there are a bunch of stuff I can’t wait to see on this list, too!
