Well, the first teaser trailer for Disney’s live-action Cinderella is out… and it’s shit. I mean, I understand what a teaser it’s all about. But come on, Disney, give us something!

This minute-long video of a twirling shoe is a moving version of the poster. At least a glimpse of the shoe actually being worn, or a peek at Cate Blanchett’s Lady Tremaine or Helena Bonham Carter’s Fairy Godmother. Anything!

Cinderella is directed by Kenneth Branagh, and stars Lily James in the titular role, as well as Blanchett, Bonham Carter, Hayley Atwell, Richard Madden and Stellan Skarsgård. It will open in March of 2015.

yeah it’s pretty lame, i’m not going to lie. but in a way it’s still cool. minimalism is often effective, but here its frustratingly minimalist. the sparkly shoe looks like hell to wear, also.

LOL, I thought the same thing. It must hurt like a son-of-a-bitch. But yeah, this was way too minimalist. Maybe a few scenes and then the twirling shoe?
