12 Days of Christmas Swap
Guys, you know how I love Christmas, and now I’ve found another fun thing to do during the season. Would love it if you could join me in this cool little worldwide project.
The lovely Abbi at the insanely readable Where the Wild Things Are posted about this a few days ago and I immediately signed up. It’s the 12 Days of Xmas Swop (or Swap), hosted by wastedfashion and Juanita Tortilla.
It goes a little something like this:
This swop is for Christmas of 2013 and you will be assigned a random swop partner (we try to match people from different countries). You’ll be given enough time to blog-stalk your partner and find out what he/she likes. Put together a package of 12 wrapped items (1 gift to be open each day until Christmas) with a value of about USD25 – it doesn’t have to be all store-bought. Send your package out by 23 November 2013 (this is to ensure your swop partner gets your package in time way before Christmas).

I did get in touch with her. We’ve been emailing. Genevieve, my recipient, hasn’t answered my email yet. Sent her a tweet today though, so hope she sees that today.

Thanks for signing up! I really like this because it reaches out to people you’ll otherwise not have “met”. At the same time, giving a little of yourself helps the other person know you better too. AND you get 12 presents from yet another friend!
