Flash Review: A Fish Called Wanda [1988]
Classy, hilarious comedy with a pleasant British flair. Wacky and unpredictable, A Fish Called Wanda relies on top-notch writing by Monty Python alum John Cleese and a splendid cast, where Jamie Lee Curtis (utterly lovable while being a despicable criminal, also: gorgeous) and a deliciously over-the-top Kevin Kline (in a deservedly Oscar-winning turn) steal the spotlight. Enjoyable from start to (cheesy) finish.
That Kevin Kline: Totally deserved that Oscar. Good review.

I died laughing of this one, and I really want to see it again. Glad you saw it, but it should’ve gotten 4.5 stars. (Because that’s your 5-star grade. 🙂 )

As you can see, I really enjoyed it but thought it was too cheesy at times to get my “perfect grade”.

You’ll never be able to truly enjoy an 80’s movie will you? 🙂 I just watched Flashdance. You’d be the only male who’d get convulsions from that movie, JUST because it’s so cheesy.
