Happy birthday, Mr. Tarantino!
Just wanted to write a quick post and acknowledge Quentin Tarantino’s birthday. The visionary director, whose films are a genre unto itself, was born as Quentin Jerome Tarantino in Knoxville, Tennessee on March 27, 1963. That means he turns 50 today!
Look, the man’s not the most likeable fella. But he’s a cinematic genius, responsible for some of the finest films of the last 20 years, including my personal favorite and the one that sparked my love for cinema, Kill Bill Vol. 1.
So, for that I thank you, Quentin. May you stick around many years more and deliver lots of interesting projects (and that third chapter of Kill Bill you promised long ago). Happy birthday!
