It was an offer I couldn’t refuse
Hit play and start reading!
As you read this post, I’m over at the cinema doing something I never thought I’d have the chance to do: watching The Godfather, Francis Ford Coppola’s perfect film, on the big screen.
I don’t know why it’s being given a new, digital release (the film’s 40th anniversary was last year, after all) or if it’s only for Mexico (lucky us) but I couldn’t not take this amazing opportunity.
In the immortal words of one Vito Corleone (né Andolini), “it was an offer I couldn’t refuse!”
Good deal! 🙂

You can’t turn down something like that. It’s just not safe to do so ;-). That’s great, Fernando.

I AM SO ENVIOUS!!!!
They played this in the theater last year for one day only, which was when I saw it. Unfortunately, there was a conflict–either I was at school that day (it’s usually on a Wesnesday they do this kind of thing at the local theater), or I had just seen the movie and didn’t see a reason to watch it, like, a week later.
I hope that next year, this happens to Part II. Damn straight I’ll be seeing that.

Wow, that’s awesome. It was done here a while ago and I didn’t have the time to attend unfortunately. Hope I will be able to do so again in the future!
