My final predictions!
Hey guys and gals! If you’re anything like me, you’re excited because in less than 8 hours, the nominees for the 85th Academy Awards will be revealed. Movies always take ages to open over here (Mexico), but I think I’d never seen so few of the buzzed-about films when the nominations were announced.
That doesn’t mean I’m any less excited for the announcement and I really hope I’ll be able to watch the majority of the nominees before the award show on February 24. Anyways, just wanted to share with you my final predictions for some of the main categories. Daniel Day-Lewis looks like a certainty. It would be fun to see Waltz win again. I wouldn’t be surprised to see Zero Dark Thirty clean up because the subject matter is of great importance to most of the voters, regardless of how well it is actually pulled off.

I’m really hoping The Master gets a Best Picture nomination but it’s probably been to polarizing to get one. It’s been one of my favorites this year. Nice review.

I reckon those are some pretty solid predictions and I’d be surprised if they are wildly different from those. Not long now ’till we find out!
