Absolutely with you on The Prestige and Precious Fernando. Didn’t mind Cotillard in TDKR personally; underwritten part but not a bad performance for my money.

She was good but it all just came apart at her last scene. So fake. I couldn’t believe my eyes.

Yeah, I guess that’s true. However I’d argue that was down to poor writing rather than her performance. She was being asked to convince of something which just didn’t quite work. In my opinion anyway.

I agree. She certainly suffered from sloppy writing but you’d expect an Oscar-winning actress to die believably on screen! haha

Hi Fernando, Thank you very much for participating and posting. great answers. About no.1, i haven’t watched many movies by Film District but that introduction was very good. Your number 3 and 4 has now got me more interested in seeing more Marion Cotillard movies. i have not seen DKR or La Vie en Rose. Cowboys and Aliens was a big disappointment. The Mist has a surprising and tragic ending. The Prestige was superb. And the Village is one i plan on rewatching. Thank you Fernando, and i look forward to more of your movie reviews.
