The Fall [2006]
The Fall is the graphic representation of the vivid imagination of a little girl (Catinca Untaru), inspired by the tales told by a Hollywood stuntman who dreams of being a movie star and getting the girl (a remarkable Lee Pace). The narrative is all over the place but visually, this film is a masterpiece. This majestic picture deserves to be watched, to be seen.
Love love love Tarsem He also did The Cell and Immortals. You’re right that narratively he’s weak, but the visuals are always impeccable. I ‘m worried about the upcoming Mirror Mirror however. It looks very bad.

Yeah, his movies are always visually stunning but the narrative always leaves much to be desired. And you’re right about Mirror Mirror. I saw the trailer the other day and it is a disgrace. The humor reminds me of those god-awful spoof movies like Scary Movie. Snow White and the Huntsman looks so much better.
