Deconstructing Harry [1997]
One of the director’s darkest, the funny Deconstructing Harry has an incredible script (by Woody Allen, of course) and, as it’s customary with his films (and more so with his comedies), an incredible cast. Allen, Hazelle Goodman, Caroline Aaron, Judy Davis and Eric Lloyd stand out in an ensemble that also features Stanley Tucci, Demi Moore, Tobey Maguire, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Billy Crystal and Kirstie Alley.
A buddy of mine who worked in a movie theater at the time, said this film caused more walkouts than any film he had shown. Any idea why?

Foul language, perhaps. There’s also a potentially offensive scene where two people are having sex and the woman’s blind grandma walks in and they keep going. Also, Demi Moore’s character is Jewish and extremely religious; she gives thanks for EVERYTHING, even before giving oral sex to her husband. I actually thought that last scene was really funny.

Yeah I’d say it’s definitely for the foul language. You really don’t expect the overload of f-bombs like this one from Woody Allen.
Fernando, what did you think of Robin Williams in this movie? 😉
